Before Thirty

Before Thirty is a person-centered case management program targeted to youth and young adults 17-29 experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Participants are assessed individually and work with staff to design a customized plan to achieve their goals. Before Thirty participants work with Friendship Place staff throughout the entire process offering support and guidance to both the  participants and the employers.

  • Permanent or transitional housing
  • Long-term, intensive case management
  • Life skill workshops
  • Creative expression workshops
  • Social and community events
  • Mentoring


How You Can Help

  • Teach a class on the arts and/or life skills
  • Provide a participant an internship or volunteer opportunity
  • Enroll a participant in your apprenticeship or training program
  • Mentor a participant
  • Contribute to a participant’s college fund
