La Casa: Working with formerly homeless men during COVID

On Tuesday, August 11, Friendship Place supporters had a chance to receive an update on La Casa, the organization’s program and facility for previously chronically homeless males. La Casa is located in the Columbia Heights neighborhood of Washington, DC, and offers residents comprehensive on-site case management, supportive services, and 24-hour staffing.

Take a look at the video recording to learn more about how the program’s staff and participants are coping during the ongoing COVID pandemic! And, see the impact donors like you make when you give people hope, a chance to rebuild their lives, and a path towards stable housing.
