Performing Street Outreach During COVID-19

Learn about our life-saving Street Outreach efforts. Because of the COVID-19 crisis, people living on the street have limited resources.

Many of the service locations they rely on in order to escape the summer heat have closed, leaving them exposed to hyperthermia and other deadly health conditions.

Friendship Place’s Street Outreach team goes out daily to meet people where they are, and supply them with water, food, and tools they need to stay safe. The Street Outreach team also connects people to critical services.
