Friendship Place has been selected as a 2023 TD Charitable Foundation Housing for Everyone Grant winner. This grant recognizes Friendship Place’s exceptional work towards creating affordable housing and supporting the homeless population in the region. 

The TD Charitable Foundation Housing for Everyone Grant program was established in 2005 to help provide access to safe, affordable housing for those in need. Since its inception, the program has awarded over $49 million in grants to non-profit organizations, supporting over 550 affordable housing initiatives across the communities TD serves. This year, the Foundation will award a total of $7 million to 37 non-profit organizations across TD Bank’s Maine-to-Florida and Michigan footprint. 

“We are thrilled to receive this grant from the TD Charitable Foundation, which will help us continue our work towards ending homelessness in the D.C. area,” said Jean-Michel Giraud, CEO of Friendship Place. “This funding will support our efforts to provide safe, affordable housing and critical services to those who need it most, and we are grateful for TD’s commitment to our mission.”
