Meet Ericka Patton

Ericka’s Eldest son Zion holds a Chrome Book

When Ericka Patton needed help, she didn’t hesitate – she connected with Friendship Place. Ericka has lived with depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety for years. With three sons to care for, she needed a safe place to stay and get to stability.

Ericka’s Friendship Place case manager spoke to her in a way that “tells it like it is.” Ericka tells us, “Friendship Place reminded me that I have to push through my problems for my boys.”

Just as importantly, Friendship Place helped Ericka’s family by making her house a home. Friendship Place provided food, furniture, and other needed items.

Most recently, generous Friendship Place donors provided funds for a Chrome Book that enables her oldest son Zion to do his schoolwork. “It was hard juggling on-line school with three boys, and now he can do his work.” Ericka tells us “I am grateful to Friendship Place for being in my corner.”
