Valley Place! Learn About our Newest Program

Friendship Place held this webinar about Valley Place, its newest facility and program for people experiencing homelessness. The online event took place on January 11, 2022 and featured the program’s director and staff, as well as Friendship Place’s CEO’s Jean-Michel Giraud.

Valley Place is a short-term housing program that serves chronically homelessness men and women. Residents leaving the program and facility graduate into Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) and Rapid Housing within a few months. The facility is a partnership with the DC government’s DHS department and is located in the Anacostia region of Southeast, Washington, DC.
